Clean your filthy carpets!!! Upgrade your furniture and fix those leaky windows!!! Filthy bathrooms with no toiletries, really? Security is a joke. flimsy doors don’t inspire confidence!!!

Good vibes but some issues
The staff were super friendly and there’s plenty of parking. Location is awesome, just a short walk to town. But yikes, no hot water in the shower, and the room felt a bit exposed since there were no blinds. Breakfast was okay, but the setup was kinda chaotic with stuff missing.

The Dene feels a bit tired and dated. Location is a huge plus, just a quick 10-15 minute walk to the center. The room had its charm and was clean enough, but the furnishings were worn and definitely need an update. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the check-in a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, the noise from the main road was disruptive at night, which made it harder to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast didn’t meet expectations. it just felt cheap and not worth the price. For a stopover, it works, but if you're after a nicer environment, I'd look elsewhere.

we stayed at the dene and loved the friendly staff. the hotel is in a great spot, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. we really appreciated how the location is perfect for animal lovers like us, especially with the nearby zoo. the superior twin room was fairly clean and comfortable, although a bit dated.

The hotel is conveniently located near The Roodee, which was a perfect outing for the family. We loved being able to visit the oldest racecourse in the country and take our dog along. The staff were friendly and made our stay enjoyable.
My children wished there were more activities for kids.

Great place for a quick stopover
The room was clean and cozy, we felt right at home. The reception staff were friendly and accommodating when we needed an extra fan to cool the place down.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but it was still acceptable.

Had a great time with my friends! We checked out the oldest racecourse in the country and snapped some pics at the iconic clock tower. Perfect for creating memories together! The staff were friendly and always ready to help, making our group stay even more enjoyable.
One downside was that one of our rooms had a strange issue with a lock, which was a bit concerning. It took away from the overall experience a little.

the location is great, really close to the city and there was plenty of parking available. the staff at reception were friendly and helpful which made check in easy. the beds were really comfy, had a good night's sleep for sure. room was clean and tidy, no big issues. plus, got a sweet deal for the price, def worth it.
the breakfast was kinda meh and the shower didn't work great, had to hold the shower head while using it. the place looks a bit dated too.
